West Bengal Chief Minister had started Banglar Gorbo Mamata Campaign describing herself as Bengal's pride. This was done keeping the state assembly elections in mind. The campaign explained how she had worked for communal harmony, growth and development of the state. Many schemes were launched during her tenure, including Kanyashree Prakalpa, Rupashree Prakalpa, Karma Sathi Prakalpa, Aikyashree Minority Scholarship, Bandhu Prakalpa, Jai Johar, Yuvasree and Krishak Bandhu.
