Vatan Prem Yojna is a repackaged version of Madar-e-Vatan scheme of the state government which was rechristened due to the association of title with Persian language. In this scheme, the contribution of the state government and donors will be in the ratio 40:60. Here is the complete process to place a donation request and donate online for Vatan Prem Scheme.
STEP 1: Firstly visit the official website of Vatan Prem Yojana at https://vatanprem.org/
STEP 2: At the homepage, click at the “Donate Now” link in the header or directly click https://vatanprem.org/Front/DonationRequest.aspx to place donation request for Vatan Prem Yojana.
STEP 3: Enter village detail by selecting district, taluka and village.
STEP 4: Next enter work detail by selecting the work and its design.
STEP 5: Then fill in the donor details and intended donation amount.
STEP 6: Enter the code obtained on your email id to submit the donation intention. Once donation intention is submitted, the request will go to concern authority for further process
STEP 7: Once your e-mail id is verified, you will receive user id along with password for further communication (password you have to reset on your first log-in in to Vatan Prem Yojna portal). Login can be made by clicking at “Login” tab present in the main menu of official website https://vatanprem.org/. The Vatan Prem Yojana login section will appear as shown below:-
STEP 8: Within 21 days you will get response from concern authority. Once your request is accepted and approved, you will be communicated through your registered e-mail ID to donate for your chosen work using payment gateway of https://vatanprem.gujarat.gov.in

Salient features of Vatan Prem Yojna
- Vatan Prem Society headed by the Hon’ble CM for achieving the envisaged goals of the scheme.
- Project Management Unit (PMU) – for implementation of the scheme in co-ordination with Development Commissioner Office and Rural Local Bodies.
- Escrow bank account at state level for facilitating donors in contributing their share through online banking.
- Grant of 40% by the State against 60% contribution by the donor.
- Name plate (takhti) of the donor to be placed on the location as a sign of gratitude.
- A dedicated web portal to facilitate the donor in selection of work and type design in their own village.
- Priority will be given to the implementing agency suggested by the donor for execution of the work.
- VCE to function as ‘Vatan Prem Prerak’ in the respective village. He will act as a link in updating the donor about the progress of the work.
- A dedicated 24×7 call centre to facilitate donors in exchanging information and addressing their concerns.
- Provision of 60% of the amount of these works by government public enterprises / private industrial units from their own contribution and 40% as government grant from their CSR.
Vatan Prem Yojana Latest Update
The first meeting of the governing body of Vatan Prem Yojana was held on Saturday (4 September 2021) where works to the tune of Rs 1,000 crore has been proposed to be completed by December 2022.The governing body of the Vatan Prem Yojana’s society had met in Gandhinagar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, an official release stated here. A presentation of details of the scheme was made before Rupani. A project management unit has been formed for the smooth implementation of the scheme, while it has also been made possible for donors to send money online.
Under the scheme launched last month, NRIs can contribute 60 per cent of the cost of a village-level project, while the remaining will be borne by the state government. Vatan Prem Yojana was a repackaged version of Madar-e-Vatan scheme of the state government which was rechristened due to the association of title with Persian language. The contribution of the state government and NRIs in the earlier version of the scheme was 50:50.
