Uttar Pradesh government's Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rajya Karmchari Cashless Chikitsa Yojana (UP SECTS) provides cashless medical treatment to state government employees, retired employees and their dependents. The scheme is accepting online applications for the State Health Card at sects.up.gov.in.

Cashless treatment of up to ₹5 lakh per year per family is available in private hospitals empanelled under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. In government medical institutions, cashless treatment is available without any financial limit. Every eligible beneficiary must have a State Health Card to get the benefit of the scheme.

Cashless medical treatment facility was provided to government employees, retired government employees and their dependent families of Uttar Pradesh by the government order dated 07 January 2022. This facility is available in all private and government hospitals empanelled under Ayushman Bharat.

In 2026, the scheme has been made fully digital. Aadhar-based eKYC is now required to activate the cashless card. Without completing eKYC, the card will not be activated and cashless treatment cannot be availed.

STEP 1 - Visit the official UPSECTS website at sects.up.gov.in.

STEP 2 - On the homepage, click on the "Apply for State Health Card" link.

STEP 3 - You can also use the direct link sects.up.gov.in/public/starttoapply.aspx to open the application form.

STEP 4 - Enter the Aadhaar linked mobile number, captcha and click on the "Generate OTP" button.

STEP 5 - After entering and verifying the OTP, the UP State Health Card online application form will appear as shown below.

STEP 6 - Enter all the asked details accurately and click on the "Submit" button to complete the UP state health card apply online process.

STEP 1 - Visit the UPSECTS official website at sects.up.gov.in/PrintCard.aspx.

STEP 2 - Then click on the "Print State Health Card" link.

STEP 3 - On clicking the link, the UP State Health Card download page will open.

STEP 4 - Verify your mobile number with OTP.

STEP 5 - Search the record by entering state, scheme name, district and registration ID.

STEP 6 - Select self or dependent and complete eKYC using Aadhaar OTP. This step is now required to activate the card.

STEP 7 - You will get an SMS confirming that your state health card has been generated with a Unique ID.

STEP 8 - Print your card anytime by visiting sects.up.gov.in/PrintCard.aspx.

You can then download and print your State Health Card. This card can be used for cashless treatment in private and public empanelled hospitals under Ayushman Bharat. Get the list of empanelled hospitals from ayushmanup.in. Only those employees and pensioners whose UP state health card application has been approved can download the card.
