Tripura CM Reviews Development Projects and Welfare Schemes

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha led the state-level DISHA Committee meeting on August 18, 2026. This meeting reviewed how government schemes are progressing. He asked for clarity and on-time completion of all projects so benefits reach the people who need them most.

Health and community development

The Chief Minister spoke about the need for better health services. He told officials to spread more information about Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Tripura has issued over 16.66 lakh Ayushman cards and 6.36 lakh state scheme cards. He suggested hospitals use QR codes so patients can get information easily.

The meeting also covered repairs for Anganwadi centres and ways to stop child marriage. Also, officials should help women in Self-Help Groups under the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission. They must also keep areas clean under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
