Odisha to provide pensions to 5,05,817 eligible people
Odisha has decided to provide pensions under Madhu Babu Pension Yojana to 5,05,817 eligible people who have waited several years for approval. Pension benefits will start from October.
People can apply at their Block Development Officer (BDO) office or through upmp.odisha.gov.in.
Anyone receiving a pension under the scheme will automatically qualify for a higher rate on turning 80. The revised amount will start the following month, with no fresh application required.
