Odisha to give 15,000 students Rs 30,000 each for laptops

Odisha will give 15,000 meritorious students Rs 30,000 each under Godabarisha Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana to buy laptops. The amount will go to their bank accounts through DBT. Higher Education Department has issued a notification.

Students who passed CHSE Plus II examinations in 2026, or the 2026 Upashastri examination conducted by Shri Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri, are eligible. Students who passed the examinations in 2025 but could not apply earlier get another chance through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal.

Applicants must register using their Aadhaar number and Aadhaar-linked mobile number, provide the required details and complete the application by November 19.
