Solar Plant Setup Process
Once the project is allocated, the setup and loan process moves through a clear sequence:
STEP 1 - On receiving the project allocation letter, the beneficiary signs the Power Purchase Agreement with UPCL.
STEP 2 - A copy of the project allocation letter, PPA, project report, and other records is submitted by the beneficiary to the District General Manager, District Industries Center.
STEP 3 - The General Manager, District Industries Center forwards the application to the concerned bank branch within 07 days.
STEP 4 - Within 15 days of receiving the application, the bank branch informs the District Industries Center about the acceptance or rejection of the loan.
STEP 5 - After the loan is accepted, the bank branch submits the margin money claims to the District Manager, District Industries Center. The margin money is then transferred to the bank branch or the beneficiary's account within 07 days through DBT.
