Maha Sharad Portal Online has been launched by the Maharashtra state government at mahasharad.in. Maha Sharad stands for Maharashtra System for Health and Rehabilitation Assistance of Divyangs. At this official website, Divyang Registration & login process is available through online mode. Moreover, persons with disabilities can register for their needs, such as hearing aid, battery-operated wheelchair, prosthesis, Braille kits among others. STEP 3: The page to make Disabled Registration at Mahasharad Portal will appear as shown below:-

STEP 4: Afterwards, fill in all the details accurately to make Disabled Registration online at Maha Sharad Portal.

STEP 5: Then applicants can make login using the “साइन इन करा” link as shown here:-

STEP 6: Enter the log in credentials in the Divyang Sign In Form to proceed to apply online for equipment or other necessary thing for disabled people.

Donor Online Registration at Maha Sharad Portal

Here is the process to make Donors Registration at the Mahasharad Portal through online mode:-

STEP 2: At the homepage, click at the “देणगीदार नोंदणी” link or directly click https://mahasharad.in/donar_mr

STEP 3: The page to make Donor Registration at Mahasharad Portal will appear.

STEP 4: Afterwards, fill in all the details accurately to make Donor Registration online at Maha Sharad Portal.

STEP 5: Then applicants can make login using the “साइन इन करा” link.

STEP 6: Enter the log in credentials in the Donors Sign In Form to proceed to apply online to donate equipment or other assistive devices for disabled people.

Maha Sharad App Download from Google Play Store

On 12 December 2020, Department of Social Justice had launched an ambitious scheme of distribution of gadgets to 29 lakh persons with disabilities through MahaSharad Digital Platform. Besides, a new Maha Sharad App will be made available on the google play store for downloading purpose by android smartphone users by March 2021.

Earlier, the state cabinet committee has cleared the Sharad Pawar Gram Samridhi Yojana as gift to NCP Chief Sharad Pawar. In addition to this, the Public Health Department has announced that patients at government hospitals will get free blood from 12 Dec onward. Patients will not have to pay processing charges of Rs 800.

Features of Maha Sharad Portal / App

The MahaSharad digital platform has been created on the lines of “OLX” app. Maha Sharad mobile app will provide various devices to persons with disability free of cost through the Commissionerate of Disability Welfare. As per the official release, the portal http://www.mahasharad.in has been launched while the platform will be made available as mobile application on Play Store in the form of Android application by the end of March 2021.

Social Justice & Special Assistance Department of Maharashtra aims to help 29 lakh disabled people through Maha Sharad Portal / App. All those specially abled people who are interested in getting assistive devices from the Maharashtra govt. can start registering themselves on Maha Sharad Portal.

Gadgets / Assistive Devices for Disabled People in Maharashtra

Modern equipment, devices will help divyang (person with disabilities) to lead life like normal individuals. Equipment including Braille kit, hearing machines, prosthetic limbs and battery operated wheelchairs are available in the market but not everybody can afford them. Many charitable people and organizations, private companies, entrepreneurs are keen to make such equipment available to persons with disabilities. So to ensure that the divyangjan persons who are needy ones will get these devices, govt. wants to connect donors directly with them. Accordingly, govt. has launched Maha Sharad Portal and App.

e-Barti Mobile App (BARTI Schemes)

In a related move, e-Barti mobile app had been made available on the google play store from 12 December 2020. This app has been developed for Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute Pune (BARTI).

In this app, all the schemes in BARTI including M-Governance, e-library, competitive examination guidance, scholarship scheme can be accessed from a mobile with one click. This application will also be useful for collecting information required for various caste surveys including facilities like caste validity certificate verification, grievance redressal, feedback among others.
