Andhra Pradesh govt. led by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has unveiled Connect to Andhra (CTA) Web Portal at connect.ap.gov.in. Now people can contribute to gram panchayat, municipal ward or project by making Connect to Andhra Web Portal Registration. Moreover, people can even register to collaborate with govt. on various development projects. Connect to Andhra Portal aims at welfare of its people through effective utilisation of CSR and philanthropic funds.
Connect to Andhra (CTA) Portal
Government of Andhra Pradesh has created ‘Connect to Andhra’ (CTA) a platform for cooperation and collaboration of all development and philanthropic activities in the state by various stakeholders like Corporates, Non-Resident Telugus (NRTs), philanthropists and other development agencies. ‘Connect to Andhra’ (CTA) is a non profit society which is Government by AP Societies Act, and is created subsuming Smart Andhra Pradesh Foundation, duly modifying the objectives to suit the vision of the Government vide GORT 405, Planning department (XII) department dt:31-12-2019. CTA would be under the control of Planning department , Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Objectives of CTA Web Portal
- To network and engage with various individuals, institutions, institutional donors, CSR related & other foundations and other resource agencies for knowledge sharing, support services and resource mobilization.
- To act as a state level platform for mobilizing and channelizing resources from Corporates, Philanthropists, Non-Resident Telugus (NRTs), individuals and other development agencies for the sustainable development of the state.
- Optimum and effective utilisation of funds received and ensuring transparent monitoring and reporting of the development projects to the donors.

Here is the procedure to collaborate by making registration at Connect to Andhra Portal:-
STEP 1: Firstly visit the official website at connect.ap.gov.in
STEP 2: At the homepage, click at the “Register” button or directly click https://connect.ap.gov.in/_UserLogin/Register to register to collaborate with govt. on development projects.
STEP 3: Afterwards, people can sign up as an individual or an organization as shown in the image below:-
STEP 4: Here the specified entity have to enter their details accurately to complete the Sign Up process. Afterwards, applicants can make login by clicking at the “Login” button or directly click at https://connect.ap.gov.in/_UserLogin/Login to open the page as shown below:-
STEP 5: After completion of Sign up process, entity can make Login to contribute / collaborate with AP govt. on development projects.
Project Funding and Implementation Procedure
Projects/ Activities : All the Projects/activities aligned with the achievement of objectives of Connect to Andhra would be undertaken in collaboration with contributors. Contributors can select the projects listed in the online portal like school , Hospital or may express interest for a new project by logging through their account and give details of the project proposed in brief in the format provided online .CTA would evaluate the project interms of feasibility and sustainability and approve the project
Source of funding: Funds for the execution of project would be received from various sources like :
- CSR Funds from Corporates
- Individual Contributions (Non Resident Telugus, Philanthropists etc.)
- Contributions from various NGOs/ Village Associations
- Grants from other Philanthropic Institutions/development organisations
Funding process : Contributors may deposit their contribution for a specific project either through cheque or through the online portal (NEFT, RTGS, credit card, debit card, UPI payments like Paytm, Google pay or Phone pay ) to the following Bank Account Contributors would receive an online confirmation once the funds are debited in the designated account and also online receipt via email.
Reporting : All the financial transactions and real time progress would be displayed on the portal. Donors can login to their accounts and review the current status and transaction statement for their projects
Utilisation certificate : After the completion of the project CTA would provide utilisation certificate to the contributor for their funds. This certificate can be used for claiming the funds under CSR in case of Corporates.
