Karnataka 6 views

Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has raised interim drought relief for farmers to ₹5,000 per eligible farmer, and the first instalment of ₹2,500 started going out by DBT this week at a programme in Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru. ₹1,250 crore is set aside for this first phase.

Earlier, the interim relief was ₹2,500. The second ₹2,500 will be paid after Deepavali. Payments began with farmers in Yadgir district.

No form is needed. Farmers are picked from crop survey records and their data on the FRUITS Karnataka portal, so a farmer whose money has not come should check that the bank account is linked with Aadhaar and that land and crop details on FRUITS are correct.
