GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026: 131 Posts, Apply by 12 October

Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has opened online applications for 131 Staff Nurse, Class-3 posts under the Health and Family Welfare Department. Applications start 28 September 2026 and the last date to apply is 12 October 2026, 11:59 PM. The exam fee must be paid by 15 October 2026, 11:59 PM.

Advertisement No. 458/2026-27, dated 28 September 2026, covers 46 unreserved posts and 85 reserved posts, including 41 earmarked for women. Ex-servicemen get 13 posts. No PwD posts are reserved in this advertisement.

Age limit is 18 to 35 years as on 12 October 2026. Qualification is B.Sc. (Nursing) or GNM diploma from a recognised institution, with basic computer knowledge and adequate Gujarati or Hindi. Fixed pay is ₹40,800 per month for the first 5 years, then ₹29,200 to ₹92,300 (Level-5) on satisfactory service.

Fee is ₹500 for unreserved candidates and ₹400 for reserved categories, all women, EWS, PwD and ex-servicemen. Selection is through a single-stage written exam of two papers, 200 marks total, with ¼ mark negative marking and 40% qualifying in each paper.
