PNB ranks third in PM Surya Ghar loan sanctions
Punjab National Bank (PNB) ranked third in loan sanctions under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, according to PSU Connect.
Vice-President of India Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan presented the award on 5 November 2026 at Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. PNB MD & CEO Shri Ashok Chandra and General Manager (Retail Banking) Shri Subodh Kumar received it for the bank's financing of residential rooftop solar installations.
