Vayo Samman campaign launched on November 4
Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr Virendra Kumar launched Vayo Samman Rashtriya Abhiyan, a national intergenerational bonding campaign, on November 4, 2026, in New Delhi under Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana.
It aims to bring senior citizens and younger generations together and value older people's experience, wisdom and contributions. The campaign is planned to reach every village and mohalla through Panchayats, local bodies and educational institutions.
