Jamtara district completes construction of 18,000 houses under PMAY-G
Jamtara district in Jharkhand has built 18,000 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G). District records show that funds for more than 25,800 families in the area have been approved so far.
Scheme benefits
Eligible families get money to build permanent homes with two rooms, a kitchen, and a toilet. The scheme also gives families an electricity connection and a Ujjwala gas connection. Payments reach bank accounts through DBT for clear processing.
