Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana 2025 continues to bring strong financial support to farmers in Maharashtra. On 9th September 2025, the Maharashtra government released the 7th installment under this scheme. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, along with Deputy CMs Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharane, and other officials, attended the program held at the Cabinet Hall, Mantralaya, Mumbai.
A total of ₹1892.61 crore was transferred directly to the bank accounts of 91.65 lakh farmers across the state. This installment covers the subsidy period from April to July 2025, providing timely relief to farmers who have been struggling with heavy rainfall and crop damage.
The scheme was first announced in Maharashtra Budget 2023-24 and works in line with the central PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Farmers get ₹6,000 annually from PM Kisan and another ₹6,000 from the Maharashtra government, making it ₹12,000 per year. Funds are sent using the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, which makes sure there is clarity and no middlemen.
Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharane said that this scheme helps farmers meet agricultural expenses, cover production costs, and improve their livelihood. Till now, 93.09 lakh farmers have received a total of ₹11,130 crore through the first six installments. With the release of the seventh installment, this number has increased further, giving a big boost to the rural economy.

The 7th installment of Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana was released on 9th September 2025. This installment credited ₹1892.61 crore to the accounts of 91.65 lakh farmers. It was earlier expected around mid-September but has now been officially distributed.

Eligibility Criteria for Namo Shetkari Yojana
To get benefits under this scheme, farmers must meet these conditions:
- Must be a resident of Maharashtra
- Should have cultivable land in their name
- Must be registered under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
- Should have a valid bank account for DBT transfer
Farmers already registered under PM Kisan are automatically included in the Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana. Registration and eKYC can be completed online at pmkisan.gov.in.
