छत्तीसगढ़ महतारी दुलार योजना 2024: Chhattisgarh Mahtari Dular Scheme 2024 has been launched by the state government on 14 May. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel mentioned that COVID orphans would be covered under the CG Mahtari Dular Yojna from the ongoing academic session. In this scheme, free schooling (education) along with scholarship would be provided to those children who become orphans due to Coronavirus. About महतारी दुलार योजना 2024 in Chhattisgarh
All the COVID orphan students studying in either government or private schools will get a yearly scholarship. The amount is Rs. 500 from Class 1st to 8th students and Rs. 1000 for Class 9th to 12th students. Under Chhattisgarh Mahtari Dular Yojna, the state government will also fund the education of the children who have lost breadwinner of the family to COVID-19. Such children will also get priority in admission to the state-run Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools.
CG Mahtari Dular Yojana Scholarship/Stipend Amount
Through CG Mahtari Dular Yojana, govt. will also provide scholarships to students studying in either govt. or private schools. The amount of scholarship / stipend would be as follows:-

Class 9th to 12th | Rs. 1000 |
Along with this, it has also been decided by the CG state government that the children whose main earning member of the family has died of corona, the education of such children will also be arranged by the Chhattisgarh government. The state govt. has decided that if these children apply for admission to Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools started in the state, then they will be given priority admission and no fee will be charged from them.
Free Education to Orphan Children in Mahtari Dular Yojna
Amid the fight against Covid-19, the Government of Chhattisgarh has taken a decision to bear the cost of education of the children who are orphaned by coronavirus infection. The government will implement the initiative through the Chhattisgarh Mahtari Dular Scheme (CMDS). This scheme will be implemented from the current financial year 2024. The CG government will bear the entire expenses of the education of children who have lost their parents due to corona during this financial year.
