Online Gujarat Card Application Form 2026: Gujarat State Non-Resident Gujaratis' Foundation (NRGF) issues a unique identity card called Gujarat Card to connect every NRG with their home state. NRG Gujarat Card Online Application Process
Below is the current step by step process to register and apply for Gujarat Card online through official NRG Foundation website.
STEP 1 - Open official website of Gujarat State Non-Resident Gujaratis' Foundation at https://nri.gujarat.gov.in/ and look for "NRG Connect" menu on top navigation bar.
STEP 2 - Under "NRG Connect" menu, choose "Become Member" option, or go directly to registration and application form at https://nri.gujarat.gov.in/nrgcard/UserRegistration.aspx
STEP 3 - Select residence type and fill full name, gender, date of birth (in DD-MM-YYYY format) and Aadhaar card number under Applicant's Basic Details section.

STEP 4 - Enter present contact information such as postal address, nearest landmark, country, state, city and zip code, followed by native place details in Gujarat covering district and taluka.
STEP 5 - Upload latest photograph, signature, Aadhaar card copy, passport copy (first and last page combined) and residence proof of present country or state. Passport number, place of issue, issue date and validity also need to be filled in this section.
STEP 6 - Set email address and mobile number as login details, choose a password between 8 to 20 characters and enter captcha code shown on screen to submit registration form.
STEP 7 - Once registration confirmation reaches on registered email, login with same email and password, click "Apply for NRG Card" option on dashboard and complete fee payment through HDFC payment gateway using debit card, credit card or net banking. Application moves to NRG department for verification after successful payment, and status can be checked anytime by logging in again and clicking "View Status".
