Bihar Government has launched e-Labharthi portal elabharthi.bihar.gov.in to where anyone can check the payment status of pension schemes of Bihar. Bihar govt. is running 6 major social security and pensions schemes in the state for the welfare of old age, widows, physically-abled etc. Every month, the state government send pension amount directly to the bank account of beneficiaries all the pension schemes in the state. Pension scheme beneficiaries can check their payment status using Aadhaar Number, Bank Account Number or Beneficiary ID.
The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar sent a total of ₹1,263.95 crore to 1.13 crore beneficiaries through direct benefit transfer on 10th September 2025. Most of the beneficiaries receive SMS / Email from their banks about the pension amount credit but if you have not received any confirmation, you can check the status of your pension payment on the official portal of Social Security Pension MIS at sspmis.bihar.gov.in and e-Labharthi Portal.
How to Check Bihar Pension Scheme Payment Status @ elabharthi.bihar.gov.in
Social Security Pension MIS portal at sspmis.bihar.gov.in is a single one stop solution to check payment and beneficiary status of Bihar pension schemes, you can follow the below process to check your pension payment status.
STEP 1: Visit the official pension portal at sspmis.bihar.gov.in and click on “e-Labharthi” under the Important Links Section on the homepage.
STEP 2: Then click on “PR1. Check Beneficiary/Payment Status” link on the homepage from the “Payment Report” option as given in the below image.
STEP 3: After clicking this link, you will reach the following page.
STEP 4: In this page, select the year 2025-2026, select the type of id you want to use from Aadhar number, Account number or beneficiary ID, then enter the ID in the next field and click on “Search” button.
Your payment status of pension will be displayed to you on the screen from where you can check the latest payment date, amount and last 4 digits of bank account number.
Check Bihar Pension Payment Status on e-Labharthi App
Beneficiaries can also check the payment status of their pension scheme by entering their details, beneficiary ID or bank account number on the e-Labharthi android app.
To check the pension payment status, download & install the app, open it and click on the 5th option “लाभार्थी अपना भुगतान की स्थिति देखें” option in the app home screen.
Now select and enter your details and click the “लाभार्थी अपना भुगतान की स्थिति देखें” button below the details to see the status.
To download the app, click on Mobile App option under the Download section on the homepage as shown below.

Check Payment Status on PFMS Portal
You can also check the payment status on the PFMS portal by selecting your bank, entering bank account number and OTP. You will receive the OTP on the mobile number registered with your bank account.
If you don’t receive the OTP on SMS, then you need to download the Sandes App and register using the same number and then you will be able to receive OTP within the app.
