SSY rate stays at 8.2% for October-December 2026
Government has kept the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana interest rate at 8.2% per annum for October 1 to December 31, 2026.
Accounts require a minimum deposit of ₹250 and allow up to ₹1.5 lakh per financial year. Deposits are made for 15 years from account opening, and the account matures after 21 years.
