Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana is a state-sponsored merit scholarship of the Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Department. The scholarship is given for two consecutive years after Class 10, so a student gets ₹11,000 per year for two years.

How to Apply Online for Thakur Sen Negi Scholarship
Students can apply online through the National Scholarship Portal or the HP ePass Scholarship Portal. The steps are given below.
STEP 1 - Visit the official website of the HP ePass Scholarship Portal or the National Scholarship Portal and click on the 'Student Login' option on the home page.
STEP 2 - Register as a new student by entering the required details. If the student does not have an Aadhaar card, the Electronic Identification (EID) number can be used for registration.
STEP 3 - After registration, fill up the application form as per the instructions given by the system and click on the save button. The system will generate a 'Temporary ID'.
STEP 4 - Submit the Temporary ID and date of birth to fill the remaining details. Upload the required documents and re-check the form before final submission.
STEP 5 - Click on the submit button to complete the registration. A Permanent Registration ID is generated which can be used for renewal and tracking the status of the application.
Renewal of Thakur Sen Negi Chatravriti Yojana
Renewal students have to apply with their Application ID and date of birth which they registered in the previous year. Students can also use the 'Forgot Application ID' option to retrieve their ID. Only those students can renew who actually received the scholarship payment in the previous year. The renewal in Class 11 or the second year of the course depends on satisfactory performance in the internal examinations of the first year.
