Ladki Bahin Yojana: ₹344.62 crore released for September payment of SC women

Maharashtra's Social Justice and Special Assistance Department issued a government resolution on 28 October 2026 that releases ₹344.62 crore for the September 2026 installment of Ladki Bahin Yojana. This money is only for eligible women from the Scheduled Caste and Navbauddha communities.

It comes out of the ₹3,000 crore kept for the scheme under the SC component plan for 2026-27. Women and Child Development Department has to check every name before paying, and must report how the money was used by the 10th of each month. Each eligible woman gets ₹1,500 a month under Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.
