Odisha MGNREGA e-KYC process has now become mandatory for all MGNREGA (NREGA) job card holders in Odisha. The government of Odisha has launched a state-wide campaign to verify every MGNREGA job card using Aadhaar-based biometric authentication. This important step aims to remove fake and duplicate job cards and ensure that only genuine rural workers get the benefit of the scheme.
According to the latest notification by the state government, all job card holders must complete their e-KYC within three months to keep their card active. If the e-KYC is not done, the job card will be deactivated and the person will lose the right to get work under MGNREGA.
