The government of Maharashtra has rolled out Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana also known as Chief Minister Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana (CMYKPY), a new scheme to offer internships to jobless young people. This plan aims to boost their chances of getting hired and help them join the workforce.
Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana is part of the state’s larger push to tackle unemployment and bridge skill gaps among young job hunters.
Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana – Objective & Implementation
Main goal of the Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana is to offer hands-on training and internships to applicants, which helps boost their job prospects. The program works with different industries and groups to close the gap between schooling and getting a job.
The Maharashtra government has set aside a hefty sum of Rs. 5500 crore to fund this scheme. This money makes sure the program can take on many interns and give them enough pay while they train.
