About Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana 2024
On 21st March 2023 on the occasion of International Day of Forests, Chhattisgarh govt. launches Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana. This is the nation’s first ever arge scale commercial plantation drive.
- Around 23,600 farmers across all 33 districts set to carry out commercial tree plantation on 36,230 acres of land.
- For the first time in the country, there will be guaranteed procurement of trees of identified species at minimum support price.
- Target to plant trees on 1,80,000 acres of land within the next 5 years.
- Harness the untrapped potential of wood based industry.
- Farmers can earn additional annual income of upto Rs. 50,000.
- Potential for additional income by monetizing the carbon credits.
Mukhyamantri Vriksh Sampada Yojana in Chhattisgarh Budget 2023-24
Mukhyamantri Vriksh Sampada Yojana was announced by CM Bhupesh Baghel on the occasion of Chhattisgarh Gaurav Diwas. Finance Minister presented Chhattisgarh Budget 2023-24 in which he said “निजी भूमि पर वाणिज्यिक वृक्षारोपण को प्रोत्साहित करने हेतु मुख्यमंत्री वृक्ष संपदा योजना प्रारंभ की जाएगी। इसके लिए नवीन मद में 100 करोड़ का प्रावधान है”।

मुख्यमंत्री वृक्ष संपदा योजना in Hindi
मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेश बघेल ने राज्य में वृक्षों के व्यवसायिक उपयोग को बढ़ावा देने की अपार संभानाओं को देखते हुए मुख्यमंत्री वृक्ष सम्पदा योजना लागू किए जाने की घोषणा की है। इस योजना का उद्देश्य निजी भूमि पर वृक्षारोपण को प्रोत्साहन देकर काष्ठ आधारित उद्योगों को बढ़ावा देना तथा आय व रोजगार के अवसर को बढ़ाना है। मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य में निजी भूमि पर वृक्षारोपण को बढ़ावा देने के संबंध में मुख्यमंत्री वृक्ष सम्पदा योजना का प्रस्ताव तैयार कर मंत्रिपरिषद की आगामी बैठक में प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिए हैं:-
- इस योजना का उद्देश्य निजी भूमि पर वृक्षारोपण को प्रोत्साहन देकर काष्ठ आधारित उद्योगों को बढ़ावा देना तथा आय व रोज़गार के अवसर को बढ़ाना है।
- मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य में निजी भूमि पर वृक्षारोपण को बढ़ावा देने के संबंध में “मुख्यमंत्री वृक्ष संपदा योजना” का प्रस्ताव तैयार कर मंत्रिपरिषद की आगामी बैठक में प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिये।
- मुख्यमंत्री ने “मुख्यमंत्री वृक्ष संपदा” की घोषणा करते हुए इस योजना के लिये 100 करोड़ रुपए देने की घोषणा की।
Chief Minister also announced Rs. 1000 crore for the maintenance and upgradation of all schools, hostels, ashrams, government buildings and “Swami Atmanand Excellent ITI Scheme” for upgradation of industrial training institutions to improve the standard of technical education.
