Assam Mukhya Mantri Lok Seva Arogya Yojana 2025: Assam government has launched the latest version of its health scheme Ayushman Asom Mukhya Mantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana (AA-MMLSAY) for all state government employees and pensioners. Registration for the scheme can be done on the official portal mmlsay.assam.gov.in. Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma launched the scheme at Janata Bhawan, announcing full cashless treatment at CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme) rates in selected hospitals across the state.

The scheme now combines both cashless treatment and reimbursement options so beneficiaries can choose what suits them best. Over 2.23 lakh employees and 6,172 pensioners have already registered, and more than ₹65 crore worth of claims have been processed. Assam government aims to bring 7 to 8 lakh beneficiaries under this scheme soon. More hospitals are expected to join, giving employees and pensioners broader choices for their treatment.

Cashless Treatment Facilities Under the Scheme

The cashless treatment facility is now live at all government medical colleges and major hospitals in Assam. It will soon expand to more reputed hospitals across India. Currently, the following hospitals are included:

Discussions are going on to include AIIMS Guwahati, Fortis Group of Hospitals, and several other private hospitals under this cashless module. Employees and pensioners can also visit hospitals not yet covered under the scheme and later claim reimbursement as per CGHS rates.

Ayushman Asom Health Card Distribution

During the launch, the Chief Minister also distributed Ayushman Asom Health Cards to beneficiaries. These smart cards allow the holder to get treatment without paying upfront at empanelled hospitals and also serve for reimbursement claims. The state also released a digital newsletter to inform citizens about regular updates and new features under MMLSAY.

Who Can Register for MMLSAY Assam Scheme?

Applicants must be permanent residents of Assam and should not already be covered under another state or central government medical insurance program.

STEP 1: Go to the official website at mmlsay.assam.gov.in.

STEP 2: On the homepage, click on the orange button “Click Here” under the section Beneficiary Login/Registration.

STEP 4: Select the ID type (PAN, PPAN, GPF, or PPO number) and validate your account.

STEP 5: Enter your PAN number, mobile number, and other details accurately.

STEP 6: Fill in your registration form completely and click “Submit”.

STEP 7: Once registered, use your login credentials to access the portal anytime for reimbursement claims, health card download, and cashless treatment updates.
