Majhe Ghar Yojana is a housing regularization scheme launched in Goa to give legal ownership rights to thousands of families living in houses built on government or community land. This scheme aims to protect old Goan homes from demolition and help residents get ownership at fair rates based on the year of construction.

Latest update (1 November 2025): Forms of Majhe Ghar Yojana can now be obtained from Deputy Collector and Mamlatdar offices across Goa. Around 50,000 people have already taken forms and government expects the number to touch 1 lakh soon.

This scheme aims to give legal cover to old houses and regularize up to 400 sqm on government or community land at simple, fixed rates based on year of construction. For now, application is offline only. Online forms and PDF download may open later on goaonline.gov.in.

Majhe Ghar Yojana Application Form

Right now there is no online application facility on any portal or goaonline.gov.in. Until the online application facility opens, citizens have to collect, fill and submit the physical form at the office that issued it.

Government wants 100 percent coverage of eligible pre-1972 houses within a clear timeline. Forms once issued must be submitted within six months.

Majhe Ghar Yojana Form PDF

Right now, Goa government has not released PDF form for Majhe Ghar Yojana anywhere, neither it is available for online submission. You will have to collect the form in physically printed format from Deputy Collector and Mamlatdar offices in your area.

Majhe Ghar Yojana Form – Offline Apply

STEP 1: Visit nearby Deputy Collector or Mamlatdar office and ask for Majhe Ghar Yojana application form along with the list of required enclosures and fee slip if any.

STEP 2: Write basic details like applicant name, Aadhaar number, address, village, survey number, house number, plot size, and year of construction as per available proofs.

Majhe Ghar Yojana Application Form Online – Tentative Steps

Citizens can not apply online for Majhe Ghar Yojana as of now, however, if online applications starts, below could be the tentative process.

STEP 1: Go to goaonline.gov.in and search for Majhe Ghar Yojana under citizen services.

STEP 2: Click Apply Online and sign in with mobile OTP.

STEP 3: Fill property details like ward, survey number, house number, total area in sqm, and year of construction with proof.

STEP 4: Upload clear copy of Aadhaar, residence proof, property papers, latest photos, and any certification file for municipality or panchayat area.

STEP 5: Preview the form, fix mistakes if any, then Submit. Save the acknowledgement and download the Majhe Ghar Yojana Form PDF copy for records.

Eligibility

Houses from 1987 to 2000 pay 75 percent of the minimum circle rate. Commercial use attracts 20 percent penalty over the base calculation. Regularization cap is up to 400 sqm, and certain plots may need a two-meter buffer as per layout and safety needs recorded by local body.
