Khelo Rajasthan Youth Games 2025 have been announced as the new form of Rajasthan Gramin Olympic Khel. These games will give a strong platform to village and city youth of the state. As of 27 September 2025, registrations for Khelo Rajasthan Youth Games have not started yet, but the official website is live.
This time, Rajasthan will not only organize its own youth games but also host the Khelo India University Games 2025 in November. Nearly 6,000 players from across India will participate in 25 major sports events, making it the biggest sports festival ever held in the state.
Registration for Khelo Rajasthan Youth Games 2025
Registration for the games will be done online through the official youth sports portal. Players can apply as individuals or through their district sports councils once the registration window opens. The website for registration is yuvasports.rajasthan.gov.in.
Earlier, the games were known as Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Olympic Khel, launched in 2022 to promote sports culture across gram panchayats, blocks, districts and state level. The new rebranded Khelo Rajasthan Youth Games will continue with an even bigger reach.

The competition will include both rural and modern sports. This will allow maximum participation and give players a chance to compete in events of their choice. Expected games are:

Khelo India University Games 2025 in Rajasthan
Rajasthan has been chosen to host the 5th Khelo India University Games 2025 in November. According to Sports Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, the event will continue for 12 days. Nearly 6,000 players will compete in 25 different sports.
Proposed venues include Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Poornima University, Rajasthan University, Jagatpura Shooting Range, Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium and Rajasthan Police Academy.
The sports list for university games covers Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Fencing, Football, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Rugby, Yogasana, Mallakhamb, Shooting, Cycling, Handball, Chess, Squash and Wushu.
Talent Hunt and Player Support
Rajasthan government will also launch a talent hunt scheme to find hidden sports talent across villages and cities. Selected players will be trained under a special program similar to the central government’s Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS). This will help them get world-class coaching and facilities.
