MP scheme gives up to ₹55,000 marriage support
Madhya Pradesh's Vivah Sahayata Yojana gives marriage support to eligible registered construction workers for a female worker's own marriage or remarriage, or the marriage of up to two daughters of an eligible worker.
Total support is ₹55,000: ₹11,000 cash and household goods worth ₹38,000. If a mass marriage programme is held, ₹6,000 goes to its organiser.
A Madhya Pradesh Labour Department post says registered female construction workers can get up to ₹55,000. Workers should check with the department or construction workers' welfare board for current eligibility, application steps and required documents.
