MP to hold PMAY Urban Griha Pravesh Diwas on 20 October 2026

Madhya Pradesh will hold Griha Pravesh Diwas on 20 October 2026, the day of Vijayadashami, in urban local bodies across the state. Families whose houses are finished under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) will enter their new homes that day.

The state government, led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, has told urban bodies to make the required arrangements. Eligible people will move in with their families following Vedic tradition. The event theme is "घर हुआ अपना, पूरा हुआ सपना".

State government says more than 10 lakh families have got pucca houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) so far. This count is the state government's own.
