PM cites Jan Dhan, Mudra and direct transfers
ET reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi cited accounts under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, loans under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana and direct benefit transfers as steps towards wider access to financial services. The report quoted him saying, "₹1 reaches every beneficiary."
He also called for stronger digital infrastructure, data centres and protection from cyberattacks. He spoke at the inauguration of RBI facilities in Bhubaneswar; PIB published the address on 25 October 2026.
