Cooperative banks serve 19 lakh Jan Dhan beneficiaries
Rural cooperative banks had 19 lakh Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana beneficiaries as of 14 October 2026, according to the Ministry of Finance's report.
Across all banks, PMJDY had 59.59 crore beneficiaries and deposits of ₹3.24 lakh crore. Rural and semi-urban branches accounted for 78% of beneficiaries; women made up nearly 56%. The report says the figures were submitted by banks.
