Election Commission of India (ECI) had launched Voter Helpline Android app for Android and iOS users so that people could download their voter ID card, find their name in the voter list, search the electoral roll, register complaints and fill forms from their phone. This app has crossed 1 crore+ installations since it was released and still works for users with Android 4.4 and above.
ECI has now launched a bigger platform called ECINET in January 2026. It brings Voter Helpline app and more than 40 other ECI apps and portals onto one single platform, so most voter services are moving here over time.
Update: Election Commission of India launched ECINET on January 22, 2026 at the India International Conference on Democracy and Election Management (IICDEM 2026) in New Delhi. ECINET now covers most of the services earlier available on Voter Helpline app, including electoral roll search, e-EPIC download and complaint registration. People applying fresh can use either app for now, although ECI is gradually shifting all voter services to ECINET.

About Voter Helpline App APK
As part of its ongoing efforts to build an active democratic citizenry, Election Commission of India had designed Voter Helpline app to encourage electoral engagement and help citizens make informed and ethical ballot decisions. Aim of the app was to give a single point of service and information to voters across the country. App gives following facilities to Indian voters:

Voter Helpline app has been giving a single point of service and information to voters across the country since its launch, and much of this work is now moving under ECINET.
ECINET App - New ECI Platform Replacing Voter Helpline and 40+ Other Apps
ECINET was announced in May 2025 and launched on January 22, 2026 by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar along with Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi. It is described by ECI as world's largest electoral service platform, joining more than 40 apps and portals of the Election Commission, including Voter Helpline, cVIGIL and Know Your Candidate, into one place. It is available in English and 22 regional languages.
Platform connects citizens, candidates, political parties, election officials and Booth Level Officers. Main services on ECINET include voter registration, electoral roll search, tracking application status, e-EPIC download, Know Your Candidate details, booking a call with local BLO, polling trends and grievance redressal, all from a single login.
Since its beta version, which was tested during 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections and Special Intensive Revision (SIR), ECINET has processed more than 10 crore registration forms, at an average of 2.7 lakh forms a day. More than 11 lakh Booth Level Officers are registered on the platform, and over 150 crore documents have been digitised through it during SIR so far.
