उत्तर प्रदेश आत्मनिर्भर कृषक समन्वित विकास योजना 2024
To raise the financial status of farmers, govt. is focusing on instant payment of crops which a farmer produces in their land. In Uttar Pradesh, farmers produce mainly wheat, maize, jowar, sugarcane and other crops. So to encourage farmers to raise their productivity, govt. is planning to open up new farmer producer organizations (FPOs). The new FPOs will be opened in the state under UP Atmanirbhar Krishak Samanvit Vikas Yojana. This self reliant agriculture integrated development scheme is a major step to raise agricultural production after repeal of 3 new farm laws by the central government.
To boost cultivation activities in the UP state, FPOs will be established in different development blocks of Uttar Pradesh starting from the current financial year itself. In a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the cabinet on 3 December 2021 gave its nod to implement Atma Nirbhar Krishak Integrated Development Scheme in Uttar Pradesh from 2022-23.
