Short Update
TGSPDCL Seva Setu Abhiyan camps run from October 2 to 4, 2026

TGSPDCL is holding a three-day Seva Setu Abhiyan from October 2 to 4, 2026. It informs households about PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana and rooftop solar setups.
Eligible homes can get a central subsidy of ₹30,000 for a 1 kW system, ₹60,000 for 2 kW and ₹78,000 for 3 kW. The max subsidy is ₹78,000 for systems above 3 kW. Group Housing Societies and Resident Welfare Associations might get ₹18,000 per kW for shared facilities like EV charging, up to 500 kW, based on scheme rules.
Applicants must be Indian citizens or households with a good rooftop and a working home power connection. They must also meet other scheme conditions. You cannot claim a subsidy again for a solar setup that already got government help. A 3 kW system can make over 300 units a month on average, depending on the place and system setup. Extra power can go to the grid under net-metering rules.
Eligible people can ask about cheap bank loans at the camps from partner banks. Staff can explain loan rules, interest rates, repayment times, documents and how to apply. They can also show how the subsidy connects to a financed setup. Loan terms follow current government rules and each bank's conditions.
Many camps started or happened across the service area. In Banjara Hills Circle, the CMD opened an awareness camp at TIMS, Sanathnagar. Camps also ran at the Circle Office in Sangareddy, CSC Tandur, ICSC Ibrahimbagh in Cybercity Circle and Ibrahimpatnam ICSC. In Nagarkurnool, MLC K. Damodhar Reddy, TGSPDCL and TGREDCO staff, bank reps and solar sellers joined the launch. The CE, Rural Zone, also went to the Choutuppal camp.
Other events included an awareness drive at Suryapet Circle Office with SBI reps, solar stalls at Patancheru Division Office and a camp at Azamabad ICSC with MLA Kaleru Venkatesh and the CE, Operations, Metro Zone. MLA Ganesh checked the Secunderabad ICSC camp. MLA Marri Rajashekar Reddy spoke at Sainikpuri ICSC in Habsiguda Circle. Events also happened in Narayanpet, Husnabad, Siddipet, Rajendranagar, Medak, Gadwal, Saroornagar, Kandukur, Kukatpally, Keesara, Wanaparthy, Asmanghad, Nalgonda and Miryalguda.
Camps help consumers with the online form, picking system size, approved sellers, needed papers, setup, checks, starting the system, net metering and getting the subsidy.
