Telangana bank camps run through December 31, 2026

Bank camps in Telangana are running from October 21 to December 31, 2026, under the Department of Financial Services' campaign to enrol eligible people in financial inclusion schemes. Camps cover all 33 districts, with 12,760 Gram Panchayats and 136 Urban Local Bodies.
Enrolment focuses on Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana. Other camp work includes Aadhaar seeding for PMJJBY and PMSBY; opening PMJDY accounts, including for Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group households; reactivating inoperative accounts; re-KYC for PMJDY and other savings accounts; generating pending Central KYC IDs; and updating nominations, including for lockers. Camps also cover financial literacy, digital banking, fraud prevention, unclaimed assets under "Aapki Poonji, Aapka Adhikar", and Kisan Credit Card applications for eligible PM-Kisan beneficiaries.
PMSBY gives eligible people aged 18 to 70 insurance cover of up to ₹2 lakh for accidental death or total disability at an annual premium of ₹20. PMJJBY gives eligible people aged 18 to 50 life cover of ₹2 lakh for death from any cause at ₹436 a year. APY provides a monthly pension after age 60, subject to prescribed contributions and eligibility conditions. Eligible people can visit their nearest bank camp; bank staff collect the required documents.
