PM-USP scholarship renewal last date extended to 31 October 2026

Ministry of Education has extended the last date for PM-USP Central Sector Scholarship renewal forms for 2026-27 to 31 October 2026. Renewal opened on 1 June 2026 on the National Scholarship Portal, scholarships.gov.in.

Colleges must verify renewal forms, including defective ones, by 15 November 2026. District, state and ministry level checks close on 30 November 2026.

To renew, a student needs at least 50% marks in last year's exam, 75% attendance and a regular course at a recognised college. Keep last year's marksheet, a bonafide certificate, Aadhaar and bank details ready. Under PM Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan Yojana, students get ₹12,000 to ₹20,000 a year by DBT, depending on the course.
