PM Surya Ghar Yojana: Apply online at pmsuryaghar.gov.in for up to ₹78,000 subsidy

Eligible households can apply for PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana through the official portal pmsuryaghar.gov.in. It gives money help for rooftop solar systems.

Subsidy amount

CFA is ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW, and up to ₹78,000 for 3 kW or more. Final subsidy needs checking and meeting technical rules.

Eligibility

• Indian citizen.
• Active home electricity connection from local DISCOM.
• Rooftop or space for solar panels.
• Meets CFA rules.
• No earlier subsidy for same setup.

• Electricity bill or account number.
• Mobile number.
• Email ID.
• Bank account details.
• Passbook or cancelled cheque, if needed.

How to apply online

1. Go to pmsuryaghar.gov.in.
2. Pick rooftop solar consumer registration.
3. Select state and DISCOM.
4. Enter account number and contact info.
5. Register and log in.
6. Fill and submit form.
7. Wait for DISCOM approval.
8. Choose a registered vendor for installation.
9. Submit installation details and finish net-metering.
10. Follow portal steps for checks, commissioning, bank verification, and subsidy.

Subsidy comes after all checks and rules are done.
