Kamrup financial inclusion drive distributes loan letters to rural groups
A financial inclusion programme at Malaybari Gaon Panchayat Auditorium near Khetri in Kamrup (Metro), Assam, distributed loan sanction letters and credit cheques to local residents and Self-Help Groups, The News Mill reported.
The programme was held under the Financial Inclusion Campaign led by the Department of Financial Services, RBI, SBI and NABARD. It covered Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana. The credit was meant to help expand micro-enterprises and small businesses.
