Gujarat recorded 2,34,42,289 total enrolments under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) as of July 22, 2026, according to Gujarat Samachar. The figures include 1,33,27,795 males, 94,02,937 females, 17,724 transgender subscribers and 6,93,833 others covered under regional converged schemes.
Under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, the annual premium is ₹20. Official PMSBY FAQs list cover of ₹2 lakh for accidental death or total permanent disability, and ₹1 lakh for loss of sight in one eye or loss of use of one hand or foot. Individual account holders aged 18 to 70 at participating banks or post offices may join.
