Goa Ujjwala Scheme to provide ₹3,000 annual LPG subsidy from September 5

Goa government launched Goa Ujjwala Scheme on September 5 to give money help for three domestic LPG cylinders every year. Eligible household LPG and PNG consumers get ₹3,000 directly in their bank accounts through DBT payment. Civil Supplies Department set aside ₹100 crore for this scheme.

Eligibility and application

There is no income limit, but only one domestic gas connection per family can apply. People already getting benefits from Griha Aadhar and Deen Dayal Social Security Scheme must submit their scheme application and bank passbook. Other families need to submit a separate application. Forms are at panchayat and municipal offices. Government expects to send the first payment to bank accounts on September 9 or 10.
