Girl children to get Rs 1 lakh on graduation completion in Odisha
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said girl children covered under the relevant government scheme will get Rs 1 lakh when they finish graduation.
He mentioned government schemes for women like Subhadra Yojana, Lakhpati Didi, Mukhyamantri Kanya Bibaha Yojana and Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangla Yojana. At least 40 per cent of the State Government's total budget goes to women.
Education up to postgraduate level is free in government and government-aided institutions. Under Ayushman Bharat-Gopabandhu Jana Arogya Yojana, cashless treatment is available at select private hospitals across the country.
