Bihar Kanya Utthan Yojana: Rs 50,000 Incentive for 1.5 Lakh Graduates

Bihar female graduates can now get a Rs 50,000 incentive through Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana. The state government will pay about 1.5 lakh eligible students after the Finance Department approved the money.

Higher Education Department checked student records up to December 2025. Payments go straight to student bank accounts using the DBT payment system. Most records are ready, but 2,200 students face payment delays because their data is incomplete. Universities must upload required documents within one week so these students get their money.
