Bihar Krishi Input Anudan: ₹112.52 crore sent to 2.48 lakh flood-hit farmers

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary sent ₹112.52 crore to 2,48,704 farmers on 14 October 2026 under Krishi Input Anudan Yojana. The money covers crops lost to heavy rain and floods in August, and it went by DBT payment straight to farmer bank accounts.
Irrigated crop land gets about ₹17,000 per hectare. The Agriculture Department got 4.57 lakh applications for this round.
Not everyone is paid yet. The CM told officials to run a village-level drive after 22 October to add farmers who were left out, and the Agriculture Minister said they will get the amount in later rounds.
