Bihar CM Samrat Chaudhary launches Aangan Ka Milan programme for Anganwadi services on September 29
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary launched the state-wide Aangan Ka Milan programme on September 29 at the Anganwadi Centre inside Phulwarisharif High School.
He gave symbolic cheques to beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. Certificates of appreciation went to Anganwadi workers, helpers, and ASHA workers. Nutrition kits were given out too.
He also released a booklet called 'Suposhit Bachpan Ki Rasoi'. He said the government will build proper buildings for Anganwadi centres that currently have no premises of their own.
Close to 115,000 Anganwadi workers and helpers work across Bihar.
