Bihar government targets employment for 1 crore women
Bihar government plans to connect 1 crore women with work opportunities. Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary shared this goal at the 25th foundation day event of the Bihar State Women Commission.
Support for women
State authorities run the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana to help women with income work like stitching, poultry farming, and goat rearing. Also, the Balika PhD Fellowship gives 1,000 girl students each year ₹10,000 per month for higher education and research. These schemes match women welfare schemes supported by the Central Government to help women become self-reliant.
