Eligibility

- The student should belong to a recognised minority community of the state. Students who have passed class 8 from the Madrassa Board can apply for class 9, and those who have passed matric can apply for class 11.

- Age limits apply, up to 16 years for class 9 admission and up to 18 years for class 11 admission.
Please note: Admissions are based on merit, judged by a 100 mark objective entrance test. The state government reservation policy also applies along with the 50% seat quota for girls and 75% quota for rural students.

STEP 1 - Visit the official e-Kalyan portal of the Minority Welfare Department at e-Kalyan portal and open the admission section for the minority residential schools.
STEP 2 - Register with the required details and fill the online application form for class 9 or class 11 as per the eligibility.
STEP 3 - Upload the required documents such as caste, income, residential and academic certificates along with a recent photograph.
STEP 4 - After submitting the form online, take a printout and deposit it at the local District Minority Welfare Office before the closing date.
STEP 5 - Download the admit card from the department portal before the entrance exam and appear for the test. Selected students are called for admission once the merit list is released.
