Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana supports the health and education of girl children born in the state. From August 1, 2024, this scheme has been merged into Lado Protsahan Yojana, which now offers up to 1.5 lakh rupees across 7 stages.

Under the old Rajshree design, a girl could get up to 50,000 rupees in 6 installments from birth to Class 12. After the merger, the same benefit is now paid under the Lado framework, and the total support has gone up to 1.5 lakh rupees. Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana

Rajasthan government launched Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana in June 2016 to build a positive outlook toward the birth of a girl child and to improve her health and schooling. The scheme works at fixed life stages, so families are encouraged to keep their daughter in school and complete her vaccinations on time.

Lado Protsahan Yojana started on August 1, 2024, and its benefit was later raised from 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh rupees in March 2025. The revised guidelines from March 2026 confirm that Rajshree Yojana has now been merged into Lado Protsahan Yojana. This means future installments for existing Rajshree beneficiaries are now paid under the Lado framework based on eligibility.

As of August 2026, the state is still running special drives to clear pending Rajshree and Lado payments. The scheme is run by the Women and Child Development Department of Rajasthan.

Benefits and Installment Amount

The merged scheme pays 1.5 lakh rupees across 7 installments. The amount at each stage is given below.

• Institutional birth - 2,500 rupees
• Vaccinations completed (9 to 12 months) - 2,500 rupees
• Admission to Class 1 - 4,000 rupees
• Admission to Class 6 - 5,000 rupees
• Admission to Class 10 - 11,000 rupees
• Admission to Class 12 - 25,000 rupees
• Graduation completed and age 21 reached - 1,00,000 rupees

Eligibility Criteria

A few basic conditions apply to get the benefit. The mother must be a resident of Rajasthan with Aadhaar and Jan Aadhaar, and the girl should be born in a government hospital or a private institution registered under Janani Suraksha Yojana.

• Girl child born on or after June 1, 2016.
• Mother must be a Rajasthan resident with Aadhaar and Jan Aadhaar card.
• Birth in a government hospital or a Janani Suraksha Yojana-registered private institution.
• The 2-child limit has been removed for the third installment and beyond.
• Recognized private school students can now claim the school-stage installments too.

How to Apply

Application for the first two installments is automatic. The first installment is released at institutional birth, and the second is paid after the vaccination records are complete. For the later school-stage installments, the school confirms the enrollment and the payment is released under the Lado framework.

STEP 1 - Keep the girl's birth certificate, parents' Aadhaar cards, the mother's Jan Aadhaar card, vaccination records, and a bank account linked for DBT ready.

STEP 2 - For the first two installments, no separate application is needed. The payment is released automatically through the health and vaccination records on the official portal.

STEP 3 - For installments from Class 1 onward, the school confirms the enrollment through Shala Darpan, and the payment is released under the Lado framework.

STEP 4 - The final installment after graduation and turning 21 is paid based on higher education records, and the money goes to the girl's own bank account.

How to Check Application Status

Since Rajshree has merged into Lado Protsahan Yojana, parents can track the application through the official dashboard on the Rajasthan government portal. The status can also be confirmed at the Anganwadi center, hospital, or e-Mitra outlet where the family applied.
