PM Kisan 23rd Installment 2026: Central government has released the 23rd installment of PM Kisan Yojana today, 20th June 2026. PM Narendra Modi released the installment from Hooghly in West Bengal at 3:00 PM, and the ₹2000 amount is now being credited to the bank accounts of registered farmers across India.
Under this 23rd installment, more than ₹18,880 crore has been transferred directly to over 9.44 crore farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). With this release, the total Samman Rashi sent to farmers since the scheme started has crossed ₹4 lakh 28 thousand crore.

Check e-KYC & DBT Status of your Bank Account
To receive the PM Kisan installment, farmers must complete the e-KYC of the bank account linked with PM Kisan registration and also check for Aadhaar linking and DBT status by visiting their bank branch.
If DBT status is not enabled or Aadhaar / PAN is not linked with the account, the ₹2000 will not be credited to your bank account.

Farmers with new applications must also check their PM Kisan application or registration status on the official portal to know if their application is approved. If the application is not approved, the installment will not be received.

What if Your Installment is Delayed?
If your installment is stuck or delayed due to technical reasons, there is no need to worry. In many cases, the pending amount from a previous installment is credited along with the next one. So if a past installment did not arrive, that ₹2,000 could be released together with the next installment into your bank account once your e-KYC and DBT details are corrected.

STEP 2 - Click on "Know Your Status" and enter your registration number in the field that appears. If you do not remember your registration number, click on "Know Your Registration Number" and search using your mobile number or Aadhaar card to find it.
STEP 3 - Complete the OTP verification using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
STEP 4 - After verification, the following details will appear on your screen: your name as a farmer, registration status, eKYC status, installment payment history, bank account details, and any pending or rejected status if applicable.
