RCS UDAN Scheme Airports List 2024 has been released at the official website of Airport Authority of India at www.aai.aero. UDAN Scheme, the regional air connectivity scheme recently launched by the central government to make the air travel cheaper has started to see the sun of the day. According to industry chamber FICCI, about 75 airports across the country have been operationalized to execute operations under the scheme. In this article, we will tell you about the UDAN Scheme Airports List 2024 (operationalized) till 15 September 2023 and RCS routes commenced till 17 October 2023.
The list of 75 airports has been released based upon geographical, operational and commercial parameters which are now part of regional connectivity scheme UDAN. Here is the complete List of 75 RCS Airports operationalized as on 15 September 2023. Under RCS, govt. has connected the underserved airports to key airports through flights that will cost Rs. 2,500 for per hour flight. People can even check the list of 499 RCS routes commenced till 17 October 2023 in Phase 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Background for Regional Connectivity Scheme
UDAN (Udey Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme was launched in October 2016 by the central government through the National Civil Aviation Policy 2016. Under the scheme, the government aims to provide cheap air travel at Rs. 2500 per hour of flight to tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
