Krishak Bandhu (Natun) – Key Features & Benefits
The “Krishak Bandhu” scheme, revamped and relaunched as “Krishak Bandhu (Natun)”, now offers double the previous financial support. Farmers with less than one acre receive assistance on a pro-rata basis, with a minimum of ₹4,000 per annum. The scheme covers both assured income and a death benefit component for farmers’ families.
In 2021-22, around 77.95 lakh beneficiaries received financial aid under this scheme. The government disbursed ₹1,818.99 crore in the Kharif season and ₹2,216.10 crore in the Rabi season during that year.
